NMAP worked with two northern Nigerian women’s human rights groups, Women’s Rights Advancement and Protection Alternative (WRAPA) and Isa Wali Empowerment Initiative (IWEI), and their partners to produce three videos that take new approaches in the fight against child marriage. This video employs the innovative use of hadiths from Islamic religious doctrine to help make the point that allowing girls to continue their education results in positive personal, social, and cultural impacts. A key audience for this project is fathers, who often have the decision making power to determine if girls enter into marriage.
