NMAP partnered with the Eurpoean Center for Constitutional and Human Rights to support their work holding multinational pesticide producers legally accountable when their products harm people and the environment. Rather than taking a product off the market when its found to be harmful, instead, these companies find countries with weak regulation where they can keep selling the products. This video focuses on Bayer and Syngentha pesticides that are banned in their home countries of Germany and Switzerland, but sold widely in Northern India, where they are known to cause cancer. We worked with ECCHR to use storytelling techniques that create an engaging film on a highly technical subject for a non-legal audience.
